Dashitude has won yet again with victory in the Dequetville Stakes.
Trainer Chris Beig only trains from a small stable at Morphettville with about 5-10 horses in work.
Beig said “I’m overjoyed to see Dashitude salute, Especially on this day in front of 30,000 people, What a thrill for the owners and great to see Amy Herrmann win a good on this day on the side card to Black Caviar”.
Dashitude only cost $5,500 and has now won over $180,000.
Meanwhile My Ex Mate won race 3 for another small Morphettville trainer Peter Blanch.
My Ex Mate started his campaign at Kangaroo Island and then won at Broken Hill before winning Australia’s biggest picnic meeting Oakbank, But heI showed sometimes the non-tabs are better for confidence because he has now won close to $90,000.
Trainer Peter Blanch was thrilled with My Ex Mate in saying ” I’m rapt to win on the same day Black Caviar was racing, And I wouldn’t have expected in my wildest dreams to win in front of 30,000 people, What a Horse and what a thrill for all involved”.
